2. Open Access Policy
Heart Research follows an Open Access model, meaning all published articles are freely available to readers worldwide. This enhances the visibility and impact of research on HIV/AIDS treatment.
3. Withdrawal Policy
Authors can request to withdraw their manuscript before it is published. Once accepted for publication, the manuscript cannot be withdrawn, except under extenuating circumstances. Withdrawal requests should be directed to the editorial team.
4. Copyright Policy
Authors retain copyright over their work upon publication. However, by submitting their manuscript, authors grant Heart Research the right to publish and distribute their work under a Creative Commons License, ensuring proper attribution.
5. English Language Editing
Authors are encouraged to have their manuscripts professionally edited for language quality before submission. Manuscripts with significant language issues may be returned to authors for revision.
6. Plagiarism Policy
We take plagiarism seriously. All submissions undergo plagiarism detection using software tools. Any manuscripts found to contain plagiarized content will be rejected and authors will be informed accordingly.
7. Complaints Policy
We are committed to resolving any complaints regarding our published content, peer review process, or editorial decisions. Authors and readers can contact the editorial team with complaints, which will be reviewed and addressed promptly.
8. Article Processing Charge
There is an Article Processing Charge (APC) for accepted articles to cover the cost of the publishing process. Waivers and discounts may be available based on financial need or other considerations.
9. Licensing Policy
Articles published in Heart Research are available under the Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY) license. This ensures the content is freely accessible and reusable with appropriate credit given to the authors.

Authors retain the rights to their work, including the right to reuse and reproduce their work in other venues. However, upon submission to the journal, authors grant the publisher a license to publish the work.
11. Manuscript Preparation
Manuscripts must be prepared in accordance with our submission guidelines. Authors should follow specific formatting instructions, including structuring the paper, referencing style, and preparing tables and figures for submission.
12. Submission of Manuscript
All manuscripts must be submitted via our online submission system. Detailed instructions on submitting, including how to prepare supporting documents, are available on our submission page.

14. Errata, Retractions, and Corrigenda Policy
In case of errors or misprints in the published articles, an erratum or corrigendum will be published. Retractions will occur in cases of research misconduct, including falsification of data or plagiarism.
15. Human and Animal Rights Policy
Research involving human subjects or animals must comply with ethical standards, including informed consent and approval from relevant ethics committees. Authors must provide details of these approvals with their manuscript submissions.
16. APC Waiver Policy
Authors from low-income countries may apply for an Article Processing Charge (APC) waiver. The waiver request must be submitted at the time of manuscript submission.
17. Participant/Patient Privacy and Informed Consent
