Digital University Foundation supports the planning, coordination, delivery, and scholarly dissemination of academic and research conferences, workshops, symposia, and related professional events.

Conference activities may be organized by DUF, co-organized with partner institutions, or supported by DUF on behalf of universities, scholarly societies, research groups, publishers, and other organizations. Services are modular and depend on the requirements and responsibilities agreed for each event.

Planning & Coordination

  • Conference concept and programme development
  • Organizing committee coordination
  • Speaker and session planning
  • Registration workflow setup
  • Event website and participant communication

Abstract & Paper Management

  • Call-for-papers infrastructure
  • Abstract and manuscript submission
  • Reviewer assignment and review workflow
  • Revision and decision management
  • Programme scheduling

Review and acceptance decisions remain the responsibility of the designated scientific or programme committee.

Event Delivery

Support may be provided for physical conferences, virtual conferences, hybrid events, workshops and specialist meetings, and international and multi-institutional events.

Proceedings & Research Dissemination

Where appropriate, DUF may support abstract books, conference proceedings, presentation materials, metadata preparation, DOI-related workflows for eligible published outputs, and repository or online dissemination.

Academic Independence

Scientific committees and designated academic leadership retain responsibility for programme quality, reviewer selection, abstract or paper acceptance, conflicts of interest, and other scholarly decisions. Commercial sponsorship or administrative support should not determine scientific acceptance decisions.

Digital University Foundation does not guarantee publication, indexing, citations, travel funding, or other outcomes merely through participation in a conference.
