The Industry Problem Solving initiative at Digital University Foundation is designed to facilitate collaboration between industry partners and the research community to address real-world challenges through structured research engagement.
Engagement Process
Industry partners may engage through direct outreach, submission of problem statements or project proposals, or initial consultation to assess feasibility, scope, and research alignment. Based on this, suitable researchers or collaborative teams may be identified.
Collaboration Model
The Foundation supports matching industry needs with relevant academic expertise, coordinating research discussions, and facilitating communication between stakeholders. The Foundation's role is limited to coordination and support, and it does not act as a contracting or funding authority unless explicitly defined.
Intellectual Property & Outcomes
Ownership of intellectual property, data, and resulting outputs is determined on a case-by-case basis through formal agreements between participating parties prior to the commencement of the project.
Current Status
This initiative is currently structured as a developing collaboration framework, with pilot-level engagements and partnership discussions being explored.
Participation in this initiative does not guarantee funding, commercialization, or specific research outcomes.
